We all need hope. To live without hope is to despair. Many people see hope only as something that might happen.
But followers of Jesus have been given a certain hope. The kind of hope that is an anchor for our souls.
Hope deferred – or hope that never eventuates into anything – makes the heart sick.
When we place our lives into God’s hands, He outworks His purpose through us.
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, to give you a hope and a future.” Jeremiah:29:11
