Inside our church – our colours tell a story
When the interior of our church was painted in 2005, the colours were carefully chosen to portray the gospel.
Along the right side, and the sides of the stage, the colour is clay, chosen to represent people, who are created by God from clay, but also Jesus, who was born as a human being.
Along the left wall of the church, and the back, the colour is a deep red, signifying the blood of Jesus, which washes away our sins.
Along the back of the stage the colour is a textured purple, signifying the hope of the glory that we have through Christ.
There is a small tower above the entry to the church painted in a colour called “Crown of Thorns.”
